Metro Vancouver remains Canada's most expensive rental market despite a slight decline. The average rent for a one-bedroom unfurnished unit dropped to $2,164, down $59 from October and $195 since last year. West Vancouver is the priciest city, followed by North Vancouver and Vancouver. Surrey offers the cheapest rents, with one-bedrooms averaging $1,760 unfurnished and $1,734 furnished. Downtown Vancouver is the priciest neighborhood.
